Williamsport, MD – Ann Elizabeth Gossard, 88, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at her home.

 

She was born on February 13, 1929 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Daniel Eugene Sirbaugh and Lula Mae Mills Grandstaff.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Gossard in 1988.

 

She was a Homemaker.

 

She was a member of First Baptist Church Hagerstown, MD, where she was also a member of the Friendship Class, Senior Adult Choir, and visited shut-ins.

 

She was also a lifetime member of Williamsport Volunteer Fire & EMS Williamsport, MD. Also a member of Morris Frock Post #42 American Legion Auxiliary Hagerstown, MD.

 

She loved working in her kitchen baking and cooking.

 

Ann is survived by her daughter Marcia A. Jenkins and her husband Lonnie of Hagerstown, MD; son Harry E. Gossard and his wife Heather of Clear Spring, MD; brother James K. Grandstaff of Hagerstown, MD; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a daughter Lana M. Mills; sister Jane W. Sheppard; brothers Forrest Sirbaugh and Harry E. Sirbaugh; stepfather Marvin K. Grandstaff.

 

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. William A. Miller officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
