Arvella Flook

Williamsport, Maryland- Arvella Flook, 96 of Williamsport, Maryland passed away on Monday March 6, 2017 at the Williamsport Retirement Village.

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland on January 31, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Lester and Lola Mae Ridenour Swain.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Flook in 1994.

She was a graduate of Williamsport High School and attended Frostburg College.  She was a homemaker.

Arvella was a lifelong member of the Downsville Christian Church, a member of Queen Esther Chapter 3 Order of the Eastern Star Hagerstown, MD and the Potomac Garden Club in Williamsport, MD.

She is survived by her daughter Sue Ellen Tingle and husband Glenn, Sr., her grandson Glenn Douglas Tingle, Jr. and wife Michelle and her great granddaughter Autumn Scarlett Tingle, all of Annapolis, MD.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Edwina Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD with Rev. Craig Jones officiating.  Burial will be private at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00-11:00am.
