Austin John Berrier

Martinsburg, WV - Austin John Berrier, Sr., 69, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born on February 14, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to the late Roby Everett and Mary Elizabeth Lowinski Berrier.

He received his Bachelor's Degree from Shepherd University.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Austin was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church Williamsport, MD. He previously served on the church parish council.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Kathryn S. Berrier of Martinsburg, WV; son Austin J. Berrier, Jr. of Goodyear, AZ; grandsons Ashton Berrier and Jack Berrier of Goodyear, AZ; goddaughter Elizabeth Givens Falling Waters, WV; sister Joanna Wajek and her husband Joe of Pasadena, MD.

He was predeceased by a brother David C. Berrier.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends. Prayers will be offered at 6:00 pm.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church Williamsport, MD on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 am with Father John Jicha celebrant. Burial will be private.
