Charles G. Hull

Hagerstown, MD – Charles G. Hull, 86, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

Born, August 29, 1930 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Bruce G. and Edna M. Zombro Hull.

He was employed by Grand Union of Hagerstown, MD until his retirement.  After his retirement he worked for Radio Shack in Hagerstown, MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post #10 Hagerstown, MD; member of Korean War Veterans Association and member of VFW Post #1936 Hagerstown, MD.

Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years R. Doris Hull; daughter Doris Norris and her husband Denis of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Mary Mellott and husband Michael of Boonsboro, MD; grandchildren Denny, Debbi, Darin and Cindy; great grandchildren Denny III, Jenny, Katie and Sarah; great great grandchildren Kloey and Alexis; sister Cherie Moore and her husband Dennis of Smithsburg, MD and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers Robert B. Hull and Jack W. Hull and a sister JoAnn Fair.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Matthew Price officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.  Military graveside services will be provided by Joint Veterans Council of Washington County and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.
