Williamsport, MD – Charlotte Virginia Shank, 79, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Williamsport Retirement Village Williamsport, MD.

She was born on April 29, 1938 in Hagerstown, MD to the late John T. and Florence Rosalie Smith Gossard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Shank on November 14, 2011.

She was a member of Red Feather Council #59 Pocahontas Williamsport, MD.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Sadie Showe of Williamsport, MD; daughter Kathy Jones and her husband William of Williamsport, MD; daughter Dawn Gordan of Smithsburg, MD; son Allen Shank and his wife Kathy of Hedgesville, WV; sister Janice Henry of Williamsport, MD; sister Mary Massie of Chesapeake, VA; sister Beverly Thomas of Hagerstown, MD; brother John Gossard of Chambersburg, PA; grandkids Chad Shank, Crystal Shank, Cody Shank, Jonathan Shank, Derek Gordan, Destiny Gordan, Dynasty Gordan, Dustin Smallwood, and Ryan Smallwood; great grandkids Lilly, Hailee, Aaron; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Leroy Gossard and her sister Linda Webb.

Burial and services will be private.
