Hagerstown, MD – Curtis Lynn Beasley, 51, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 as a result of a work accident.
He was born on July 17, 1966 in Hagerstown, MD to Golden Andrew “Bumps” and Lucretia Anne “Pat” Beaver Beasley of Hagerstown, MD.
He was a 1984 graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD.
He was employed by Conservit, Inc. of Hagerstown, MD for 25 years.
He previously attended Virginia Ave. Church of God Halfway, MD.
Curtis was a member of the National Duckpin Bowling Congress and also a member of the APA “The Governing Body of Amateur Pool Players.”
He previously belonged to the Williamsport Vol. Fire Co., Inc. and the Sharpsburg Vol. Fire Co.
Throughout his life Curtis enjoyed collecting aluminum cans, helping cleanup the community, bowling, shooting pool, and throwing darts. What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his Mom and Dad.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and New York Yankee fan.
Besides his parents he is survived by a brother Jeffery Nelson Beasley of Berkeley Springs, WV; sister in law Carol E. Lowery Beasley of Williamsport, MD; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister Debra S. Beasley, two brothers David A. Beasley and Mark W. Beasley and three nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. A. Paul Harne officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
