Emily T. Lemarie'

Williamsport, MD – Emily T. Lemarie’, 100, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport, MD.

She was born on May 3, 1917 in West New York, New Jersey to the late Charles and Pauline Hauser Thiessen.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Harvey Jean Lemarie’ in 2012.

She was a graduate of Bogota High School Bogota, NJ.

She was employed as a Librarian with the Enlarged City School District of Middletown in Middletown, NY.

She was a longtime volunteer for Radio Vision in Middletown, NY.

She was also an extraordinary knitter and won many awards for her work.

Emily is survived by her son David P. Lemarie’ and his wife Anne of Sharpsburg, MD; 3 nieces and a nephew.

She was predeceased by a daughter Nancy L. Rowe, brother Robert Thiessen, and a sister in law Violet Thiessen.

There will be no viewing.

Services will be private.
