Erma B. "Nanny" Foltz

Williamsport, MD – Erma B. “Nanny” Foltz, 95, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on July 5, 1922 in Big Pool, MD to the late Alonza Grant and Mattie Elizabeth Rizer Repp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Neikirk Foltz in 1972.

She was a 1942 graduate of Clear Spring High School Clear Spring, MD.

She owned and operated her own Child Care business for over 50 years until retiring in 1993.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Williamsport, MD. She was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Choir, and a member of the Hearts and Hands Quilting.

She also was a leader of the Shawnee Girl Scout Council.

Erma is survived by her daughter Rebecca J. Bohrer of Big Pool, MD; daughter Judith E. Reed of Clear Spring, MD; grandchildren Tammy, Nicole, Amanda, and Matthew; great grandchildren Toni, Megan, Julian, Glori, Eideann, and Sophie; great great grandson Michael.

She was predeceased by a daughter Juanita Golden and three brothers Pete Rizer, Perry Repp, and James Repp, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Allen Reed officiating.  Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery Clear Spring, MD.
