Florence Miller Repp

Big Pool, MD – Florence Miller Repp, 87, of Big Pool, MD passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Care Haven Center Martinsburg, WV.

She was born on January 13, 1930 in Downsville, MD to the late Howard Andrew and Beulah Grove Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Repp on July 28, 1985.

Florence was a graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD.

She was the owner/operator of Mary Catherine’s Beauty Salon of Williamsport, MD. Most recently she was a caregiver at Williamsport Retirement Village, Twin Oaks Assisted Living and Chestnut Grove for many years in Williamsport, MD.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Big Pool, MD. She was a greeter and helped cook with the ladies in the kitchen for many years.

She was also a member of Big Pool Ruritan Ladies Auxiliary Big Pool, MD.

Florence loved to cook and bake, gardening, spending time with her family and helping anybody in need.

She is survived by her daughter Lori Ann Mills of Falling Waters, WV; son Duane Andrew Repp and his wife Lisa of Maugansville, MD; brother Doyle Grove, Jr. of Pinesburg, MD; brother Steve Grove of Williamsport, MD; grandsons Tyler Mills, Zachary Smith, Andrew Repp, Adam Repp and Cody Rhodes; and great grandson Caleb Rhodes.

She was predeceased by a daughter Theresa Repp, sister Mary Catherine Frush and three brothers James Miller, John Grove, Sr. and Kenny Grove.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Joshua Grove officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
