I find myself torn between sadness at the loss of such a sweet and loving lady, and gladness that she is now "present with the Lord." I know that her family will feel her loss for years to come, and I pray that God's comfort and peace be with each of them, especially James and Brenda. When we attended the Williamsport UM Church, Gladys and John were good friends. She was always smiling and upbeat, and I don't remember her ever saying anything ugly about anyone. She just wanted to encourage and help in any way she could. She was a true child of God...and now she's home.
