Janet Mae Cromis

Chewsville, MD – Janet Mae Cromis, 61, of Chewsville, MD passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on December 25, 1955 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Wilbur Curtis and Catherine Dorothy Sucilia Cromis.

She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School and played on the Martinsburg Girls Softball League.  She also attended Shepherd College.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

She previously volunteered at Coffman Nursing Home in Hagerstown, MD.

Janet was a very kind and gentle person.

She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She also liked arts and crafts.

Janet is survived by her twin sister Janice F. Cromis of Johnson City, TN; brother Robert N. Cromis and his wife Estalene of Hagerstown, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend and caretaker Pam Brubaker.

She was predeceased by two sisters Suzanne K. Prince and Joann Kirby.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
