Kenneth D. Knight

Sharpsburg, MD – Kenneth D. Knight, 53, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

He was born on April 7, 1964 in Hagerstown, MD to Warren D. and Connie E. Bussard Knight of Sharpsburg, MD.

He was a 1982 graduate of Boonsboro High School Boonsboro, MD.

He was previously employed with Michael F. Taylor, Inc. in Shepherdstown, WV and O.K. Plumbing in Sharpsburg, MD.

Kenneth previously attended Antietam Church of God Sharpsburg, MD.

He was a member of Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Company Sharpsburg, MD, S.A.L. Antietam Post #236 American Legion Sharpsburg, MD, and a past member of Conococheague Sportsman Club.

He was an avid Steelers and Boston Red Sox fan.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Kendra K. Oberholzer and her husband Ray of Boonsboro, MD; brother Kevin D. Knight and his wife Debbie of Sharpsburg, MD; niece Erin Overdorff and her husband Keith of Keedysville, MD; niece Brooklyn Oberholzer, great niece Olivia Overdorff; companion Pamela Koontz and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

A memorial service will be held at Burnside First Church of God 3904 Mills Rd. Sharpsburg, MD on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating. Interment will be private.
