Dear Arant and Grove Families,

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Laura was a very nice and giving person. I had the privilege of knowing her while working at PE. She shared some of her lily of the valley plants with me which still grow in my yard today. They always make me think of her, and will continue to do so. Hopefully all of your wonderful memories of her will give you comfort and peace.

Oh Mike, the last report I heard on your Mom she was stronger. I am so sad for all of you. I have loads of fond memories - from the time I was a little girl your Mom, my Mom and me were porch sitters on Main Strret while munching cheese from Hammond's Store. Then our lives intertwined again at PE. We faced many challenges together head on. She always did more than what was expected. And then we were connected in our spiritual life at St Paul's. She was a pillar of the church. She.will be remembered and missed by many!
