Williamsport, MD – Linda Darlene Pierce, 55, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at her home.

She was born on June 14, 1962 in Hagerstown, MD to James Edward, Sr. and Annie Ellen Allen Kirby of Williamsport, MD.

She was a Homemaker.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

Linda worked at Leiter’s Catering Williamsport, MD for 21 years.

She was a member of Potomac Post #202 American Legion Auxiliary Williamsport, MD.

She was a dedicated Grandmother and she loved her grandchildren with all her heart.

Besides her parents Linda is survived by her husband of 38 years Steve E. Pierce, Sr.; daughter Kira L. Pereschuk and her husband Larry of Keedysville, MD; son Steve E. Pierce, Jr. and his wife Christina of Fort Loudon, PA; son Christopher “Elmo” Pierce and his wife Frances of Hagerstown, MD; brother James E. Kirby, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; brother David W. Kirby of Williamsport, MD; brother Joseph M. Kirby of Martinsburg, WV; sister Myrna L. Murphy of Williamsport, MD; 14 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Poffenberger.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Manor Cemetery Boonsboro, MD.
