Muriel Greenwood Smith

Williamsport, MD – Muriel Greenwood Smith, 79, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born on May 30, 1938 in Nutley, New Jersey to the late Samuel Spencer and Clara Barr Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Smith on July 29, 2004.

She was a graduate of Nutley High School Nutley, New Jersey.

She was employed by Black & Decker in Easton, MD until her retirement.

Muriel is survived by her daughter Audrey A. Smith of Bean Station, TN; daughter Linda S. Long of Williamsport, MD; sister Ruth Koss of NC; sister Eleanor Becker of NJ; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.

She was predeceased by two brothers Spencer Greenwood and Bennett Greenwood.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Manor Cemetery Boonsboro, MD with Rev. Douglas Robinson officiating.
