Nancy Jean Banzhoff

Williamsport, MD – Nancy Jean Banzhoff, 81, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Fahrney Keedy Nursing Home Boonsboro, MD.

She was born on July 7, 1935 in Williamsport, MD to the late Daniel Richard and Louise Anna Mowbray Bovey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Banzhoff in 2003.

She was employed by Weis Markets until her retirement.  She also worked at Williamsport Nursing Home and McDonald’s in Williamsport.

Nancy was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD.

She was also a member of Red Feather Council #59 Degree of Pocahontas Williamsport, MD and Potomac Post #202 American Legion Williamsport, MD.

She is survived by her son Harold L. Nichols of Greencastle, PA; granddaughter Evonne Nichols of Hagerstown, MD; grandson Erik Nichols of Martinsburg, WV; brother Ralph Bovey of Bethlehem, PA and 2 great granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a daughter Karen Jean Nichols, sister Shirley Stotler and brother Dickie Bovey.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Smoot officiating.
