Ned Ellis Amsley

Williamsport, Maryland- Ned Ellis Amsley-85 of Williamsport, Maryland passed away on Monday August 14, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD

Born in Williamsport, MD on February 23, 1932, he was the son of the late Harvey Allen and Charlotte Elizabeth Guessford Amsley.  He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia E. Amsley in 2001.

He was the owner and operator of Amsley’s Collision Service in Williamsport, MD

Ned was a member of Sons of American Legion Post#202 and Conococheague Tribe #84 IORM both in Williamsport, MD.

He is survived by a daughter Donna King and her partner Chuck of Williamsport, MD, a daughter Chris Seibert and her husband Donnie, Sr. of Falling Waters, WV, 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Nicole and 2 brothers.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday August 17, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm.  For the convenience of family and friends, the funeral home will open at 9:00am on Thursday.

Graveside services will be held on Friday August 18, 2017 at 2:00pm at Rose Hill Cemetery Hagerstown. MD.
