Thinking of you so much this weekend. Today is your 62nd anniversary. Tomorrow is Father's Day. I miss you so much. I know God is where you are and He is with me. That's what we said when you were in the hospital. Love you forever.

I feel so bad I didn't know of Roy's passing! I'm so sorry Family he was a giant of Men! I first met Roy 33yrs ago when Barb and I were looking for a place to put a Video Store! Stoped at his station and we took up a conversation and told him what I wanted to do! He suggested a lawyer to help us go through the process with the city planning at that time! I'll never forget the evening of the meeting we walked out and here was Roy coming to check to see how we made out! I met a lot of people in Williamsport over that twenty year span but Roy was my friend he would stop in ocassionaly and I would pull him up a chair and he would vist me at the store after we retired I would come through Williamsport and would usually find him at Debs. I believe a month or so now I hit the wrong bottom on my phone I was calling someone and I excused myself that I had a wrong number then I realized that voice was Roy and I intended to call him again but we all think we have all the time in the would and we don't follow through! I can here is voice now. Love that man. Rest In Peace my friend. God gained a true giant a sweet man in Heaven

As a long time friend of the family I knew Roy for many years...memories of good things. Roy was always kind and generous to those around....never complaining. His service station was just that....a true place of service, not like we have today and a safe place for kids to hang out or people to just stop and catch up. Those in this generation will never have the opportunity to enjoy this as we did. Everyone that knew him was blessed to be part of his circle. May you finally have the rest you so deserve Roy. You will truly be missed by your family and friends.

In the late 80s, I became one of the resident deputies in Williamsport which lasted 3 years.
During that time I met Roy at his Exxon Station and we became good friend. He will be missed.
My condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dear father, Debbie and your grandfather Patti. I loved reading on facebook all the many loving things you thought about him and all you did with him. You both tended to him beautifully and loved him so deeply I know. I'm so very sorry and hold you both in my heart.- Ruthy

Roy was one of the good guys. Always smiling and happy to see friends and strangers alike. He was always willing to help someone it need. He ran a friendly service station where often friends would gather and spend some time talking about anything and everything. Not yet mentioned was the fact with the service station he ran a towing service and worked closely with the local law enforcement agencies gaining their respect for his excellent service at anytime day or night. Although he was old enough to be my father, I will long remember Roy as a friend, more like a brother, who enjoyed talking about our children and grandchildren, and cars. Even after moving half way around the world I would still think of you often. I miss those younger days at the station. May God bless you and your family in this time of need.
