Ruth Evelyn Fox

Williamsport, MD – Ruth Evelyn Fox, 86, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Homewood Retirement Center Williamsport, MD.

She was born on September 15, 1930 in Clear Spring, MD to the late Wilber Cleveland and Ellnora Louise Stouffer Myers.

She was a Homemaker and she was employed as a Seamstress with Dorbee Manufacturing for over 25 years in Hagerstown, MD.  After Dorbee Manufacturing Ruth worked in the family construction business.

She was a member of Downsville Christian Church Downsville, MD.

Ruth enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her daughter and family and wintering in the Keys.

She is survived by her husband C. Glenn Fox whom she married on June 21, 1949; daughter Dixie Lee Garvin and her husband Douglas of Niceville, FL; sister June L. Alford of Hagerstown, MD; sister E. Marie Harshman of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren Duana A. Garvin and Dustin G. Garvin

She was predeceased by her sisters Mary L. Hoch and Clarissa L. Mullendore and a brother Robert L. Myers.

Services and burial will be private.
