Scott Michael Green

Greencastle, PA – Scott Michael Green, 45, left this earth to be with God on April 16th at his home after a long illness.

He was born on September 1, 1971 in Hagerstown, MD.

Scott retired from the Frederick County Detention Center and was currently working in Martinsburg, WV at ATF/NTC. 

He was a 1989 graduate of Clear Spring High School, he played and loved Varsity soccer.

Scott was a person who found no fault in anyone.  He always had a kind word about everyone. The light of his life was his son, Dawson M. Green. 

He loved innovation and vacationing at the beach.  He also loved music and had a beautiful voice which he shared at church.

Scott will be missed so much by so many of his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents Gary W. Green, Sr. and Linda J. Rogers Green originally of Hagerstown, MD and currently of Greencastle, PA; one son Dawson M. Green; his brother Gary Wayne Green Jr. and his wife Katie; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

He was a member of the Salvation Army Church of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Major Carroll Braun and Major Butch Mallard officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
