V. Lorraine Petefish

Sharpsburg, MD – V. Lorraine Petefish, 83, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her home.

She was born on May 20, 1933 in Sharpsburg, MD to the late John Webster “Mac” and Mary Madeline Fisher McGraw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl “Bill” Petefish on December 18, 2001.

She was a 1951 graduate of Boonsboro High School Boonsboro, MD.

Lorraine was previously employed by Federal Silk Mill and Williamsport Textile both of Williamsport, MD.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Sharpsburg, MD where she previously served on the Alter Guild and sang in the Choir.

She was a past member of Sharpsburg Area EMS and Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her brother Gene H. McGraw and his wife Peg of Sharpsburg, MD and several nieces, nephews, 1 great nephew and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister Betty Lou Baker.

There will be no viewing.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery Sharpsburg, MD on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.
