I'm so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Mr. Ritchey, but I did know you, Mrs. Ritchey, as Miss Hartford in 1960. I believe that was the year. What an inspiration you were to me! You advised me to write and I did and have often wanted to share some of it with you. Thank you so very much for the wonderful teacher you were to me. It is with a sad heart that I know of you and your family's tremendous loss. You and your husband were an inspiration to so many and I wish many healing blessings will attend each of you at this time. With many fond memories of you, Judith.

Sorry for the loss of Wes, he was a cousin of mine. Family circumstances separated our family many years ago. Wes called me a year ago after many years. Sounds like he accomplished a lot in his time on earth. RIP Wes.

My deepest sympathy and prayers for Ruth, Meg and Carolyn. Wes will be sorely missed. He always showed me the utmost kindness and spoke of the students he loved to teach and help throughout
his career. His family was his pride and joy! My prayers are for comfort and peace in this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Wesley. I was a student at Vaughnesville school during the late 70s and Mr. Ritchey truly helped me cope with problems I had during my junior high years. I can't thank him enough for the care and interest he took in helping me during that difficult time. His words of encouragement and optimism has really sustained me over the years. I have thought of him often, and will continue to do so. A wonderful man that will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
