William H. "Bill" Church, Jr.

Falling Waters, WV – William H. “Bill” Church, Jr., 44, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center Martinsburg, WV.

He was born on December 10, 1972 in Ranson, WV to William H. “Bill” Sr. of Salem. WV and the Late Lucy M. Johnston Church.

Bill was a 1991 graduate of Hedgesville High School Hedgesville, WV.

He was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD where he worked with the youth group, he was the coordinator of the sound room, worked weekly with the Shepherd’s table for the community meals, helped prepare the Thanksgiving dinner each year and was involved in the drama Ministry.

He worked as a Chef his entire life and previously owned and operated the Lunch Box and Home Town Diner in Williamsport, MD.

Besides his father he is survived by his wife of 24 years Diana K. Church; stepmother Tonya Church of Salem, WV; sister Dawne Lammers of Orangeburg, SC; sister Kylee Church of Salem, WV; sister Melissa Church of Salem, WV; brother Leland Church of Salem, WV;niece Shannon Knipple; niece Lindsey Knipple; great niece and 2 great nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Williamsport United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Susan Boehl officiating.  Burial will be private.

There will be no viewing.
