Vickie/Pat and all others, please except my condolences for your loss. Jerry was my idol when I first met him when I was 16. U know the story. I always considered him my buddy as he did me. I spoke with him in May and he said he wasn't doing to bad. It saddens me he has passed. Take care all. Henry Breeden

Uncle Jerry will be missed by so many. He was the type of man that would give you his last dollar! I have such great memories of all of us down in Sharpsburg on Memorial days when Jamie, Butch, Christopher and I were just kids. The parade was such a fun time for our family to come together and just enjoy each others company. I have so many great memories of you, Uncle Jerry. You will forever be in my heart and each time I think of you I will smile!

I just found out about Jerry's passing. He was such a wonderful guy. All the good times I had always involved Capt. Benders & Jerry. Then laughing so hard my ribs would hurt for a day. He always told me the truth no matter how bad it was then would laugh at me ! lol Then I would see him out with his grandsons and see a complete different side. He was a very kind and sweet person and will be missed.
