Sharpsburg, MD - Donald Edwin “Donnie” Nutter, 52 of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at his home.





Born, October 7, 1960 in Hagerstown, MD to Donald Lee and Constance Mae Moats Nutter of Boonsboro, MD.





He was a 1978 graduate of Williamsport High School.





He was employed as a Correctional Officer at MCTC in Hagerstown, MD until retiring in 1999.  He also was employed by Napa of Boonsboro, MD and is the co-owner of Nutter’s Ice Cream Sharpsburg, MD. 





He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.





He was of the Brethren Faith.





He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Clopper Michael Post #10 Boonsboro, MD.





He enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, MD, Caribbean Resorts and playing golf.





He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and enjoyed Nascar Racing.

Wife: Debra Sue Henson Nutter married Oct. 8, 1983 of Sharpsburg, MD

Sister: Pamela Williams of Waynesboro, PA

Sister: Denise Anderson and her husband John of Boonsboro, MD

Brother: Matthew Nutter and his wife Denise of Charles Town, WV

His Loving Companion “Fritz”

Mother In Law: Sandra Henson of Sharpsburg, MD

Sister In Law: Brenda Kretzer and her husband Othie of Boonsboro, MD

Brother In Law: Richard Henson and his wife Gwen of Hagerstown, MD

4 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews

Numerous aunts and uncles





The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.





Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Richard G. Hembrock officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.  Military graveside services will be provided by Clopper Michael Post #10 American Legion Boonsboro, MD.
