Alice Louise DuLaney

Falling Waters, WV – Alice Louise DuLaney, 83, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on January 21, 1936 in Washington, D.C. to the late Benjamin F. and Elizabeth V. Hartnett Lentz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David D. DuLaney, Sr. on March 26, 2004.

She attended Patterson Park High School Baltimore, MD.

Alice was employed by Western Electric-Baltimore Works in Baltimore, MD for 25 years until her retirement. Following Western Electric-Baltimore Works she was employed with Maryland Ribbon and Wal-Mart both in Hagerstown, MD.

She was previously a member of the Salvation Army Patterson Park Baltimore, MD.

She was a member of JOBS Daughters, OES Highland Chapter No. 33, and Telephone Pioneers of America all in Baltimore, MD.

Alice loved to knit and crochet and enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Donna M. DuLaney-Nicewarner of Falling Waters, WV; son David D. DuLaney, Jr. of Hedgesville, WV; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters Mary Kaitis and Charlotte Duncan and one brother Benjamin Lentz, Jr.

The children will celebrate Alice’s life by having a gathering of family and friends at a later date.
