Barbara Jean Jackson

Smithsburg, MD – Barbara Jean Jackson, 71, of Smithsburg, MD passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home.

She was born on May 8, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Walter Theodore and Thora Mae Rauch Jackson.

She attended Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.

Barbara was a resident at the ARC of Washington County in Smithsburg, MD for over 30 years. 

She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies.

She loved coloring and enjoyed her staff and housemates very much. She loved to dress up and go on outings.

Barbara is survived by her sister Sandra Kresge and her husband Stanley of Palmview, TX; several nieces and nephews; and her friends at the ARC.

There will be no viewing.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD at 11:00 am with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.
