Bernadine Ellen Morris

Funkstown, MD – Bernadine Ellen Morris, 83, of Funkstown, MD passed away while on vacation at Orlando Regional Medical Center Orlando, FL on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

She was born on April 9, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Addison Talcott and Donna Jean Standish Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Breneman Morris in 1996.

She was a Homemaker.  She worked for several years for the Washington County Commission on Aging.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Hagerstown, MD.

Bernadine is survived by her daughter Judy Lee Hoffman of Williamsport, MD; daughter Jo Ellen Dawson of Hagerstown, MD; son A. Scott Morris of Funkstown, MD; grandchildren Tonya, Beth, Andrew, Zach, Nathan, Joseph, Levi, Alec and Ashton; 8 great grandchildren; sister Elaine Zagorsky of Youngstown, OH; sister Donna Zagorsky of Poland, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friend Kathy Warner Johns of Yarrowsburg.

She was predeceased by two brothers Bernard Scott and Doug Scott and two sisters Lucille Millich and Caroline Morris.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Entombment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 am with Robert B. McKinley Elder.
