Berneda Jane "Peck" Myers

Williamsport, MD – Berneda Jane “Peck” Myers, 105, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Williamsport Retirement Center Williamsport, MD.

She was born on August 31, 1914 in Williamsport, MD to the late Harry John Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Houpt Grimes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones “Jiggs” Myers on May 2, 1997.

Peck attended Williamsport Schools.

She was a Housewife and was previously employed by Alkahn Label Mill in Williamsport, MD.

She was a member of Valley Assembly of God in Hagerstown, MD.

She enjoyed being at home with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Ann G. Cline and her husband Harold of Hagerstown, MD; son Phil Myers and his wife Sylvia of Williamsport, MD; brother Roger T. Grimes and his wife Patsy of Williamsport, MD; grandson Harold “Ted” Cline; great grandsons Robert Cline and Justin Cline; 6 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sisters N. Elizabeth Fink and Roberta Carter and two brothers Andy Grimes and Richard “Tody” Grimes.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Robert C. Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 am.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
