Clear Spring, MD – Bessie May Mills, 73, of Clear Spring, MD passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at her home.

She was born on June 13, 1946 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Preston Leroy and Ethel Marie Flohr Sellers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Thomas Mills, Sr. on August 21, 2017.

She was a Homemaker.

Bessie was a member of Salem Reformed Church in Hagerstown, MD.

She loved bingo and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Tina M. Tressler and her husband George of Hagerstown, MD; son Edgar Thomas Mills, Jr. and his wife Robin of Clear Spring, MD; 3 grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, and Jacob; 4 great grandchildren Collin, Bryan, Marissa, and Kaitlyn; sister Doris Hornbaker of Big Pool, MD; sister Jackie Snook of Clear Spring, MD; twin sister Esther Harbaugh of Williamsport, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters Lillian Dofflemyer and Rosalie Nese; a brother Preston Sellers, Sr.; great grandchild Christian Grace Halteman.

There will be no viewing.

Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Carl Sipes and Pastor Eric Cox officiating.
