Betty Jane Keefauver

Hagerstown, MD – Betty Jane Keefauver, 88, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Ravenwood Nursing Home Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on September 11, 1930 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Maynard Clarence “Johnny” and Ethel Pauline Drury Worthington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Anthony Keefauver on April 25, 2015.

She was employed by Keefauver’s Dry Cleaners Hagerstown, MD as the Secretary and Treasurer until retiring in 1985.  She was previously employed by Maryland Ribbon Company of Hagerstown, MD.

Betty was a member of St. James Brethren Church St. James, MD.

She is survived by her daughter Linda S. Grimm and her husband Jeff of Hagerstown, MD; daughter in law Pamela Keefauver of Hagerstown, MD; brother Allan Worthington of Hagerstown, MD; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Tony Keefauver and a sister Geraldine Gelwicks.

There will be no viewing.

Graveside services will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery Hagerstown, MD on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brad Selan officiating.
