Betty Lee Davis

Williamsport, MD – Betty Lee Davis, 89, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Homewood Retirement Center Williamsport, MD.

She was born on April 1, 1928 in Williamsport, MD to the late Fred Nelson and Olive May Kline Drury.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Floyd “Bud” Davis, Sr. on March 4, 2004.

She was employed by Dorbey’s Manufacturing of Hagerstown, MD and most recently as an Aide in the Educational Department and various Schools in Washington County until her retirement.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Williamsport, MD. She volunteered folding bulletins at church.

Betty is survived by her daughter Lorraine M. Shine and her husband James of Alexandria, VA; son C. Floyd Davis, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Williamsport, MD; brother Ira K. Drury of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren Stephanie C. Berchock, Clarence Floyd “Lance” Davis, III, Kristen D. Toms, and Jeremy L. Wolf; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

She was predeceased by a sister Jane Robinson and two brothers Nelson Drury and Preston L. Drury.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Kim Nunberg officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
