C. Glenn Fox

Williamsport, MD – C. Glenn Fox, 89, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on October 16, 1927 in Downsville, MD to the late Clyde Ambrose and Iva Virginia Bowers Fox.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Evelyn Myers Fox on April 11, 2017.

He was the Owner/Operator of C. Glenn Fox, Inc. for 50 years until retiring in 1993.  He was previously employed by Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown, MD.

Glenn was a member of Downsville Christian Church Williamsport, MD.

He was also a member of AARP, Conococheague Tribe #84 IORM of Williamsport, MD and Potomac Fish & Game Club of Williamsport, MD.

He is survived by his daughter Dixie Lee Garvin and her husband Douglas of Niceville, FL; sister Linda Lee Fox of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren Duana A. Garvin and Dustin G. Garvin of Niceville, FL; nephew Russell “Rusty” Fox.

He was predeceased by his brother Donald A. Fox.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open at 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Craig L. Jones officiating.
