Carole Anne Kelley-Carbaugh

Hagerstown, MD – Carole Anne Kelley-Carbaugh 60, of Hagerstown,MD passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on March 27, 1958 in Oceanside, CA to the late Edmund Sr. and Laura Griffin Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jay Patrick Kelley in January 2000.

Carole was a Registered Nurse and worked at various places in the area.

She was a member of Emmanuel Chapel Smithsburg, MD.

She was also a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Co Group Leader for the Hagerstown Support Group.

Carole is survived by her husband of 16 years Douglas R. Carbaugh; daughter Laura Gates and her husband Austin of Greencastle, PA; son Jacob Kelley of Williamsport, MD; stepdaughter Jessica Ashway and her husband Chris of Waynesboro, PA; granddaughter Lily Gates; step grandson William Dankmeyer; sister Vicki Ferreira and her husband Manuel of Woodbridge, VA; and her service dog Caspian.

She was predeceased by her sister Lori Mae Caldwell-Cook.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Chapel Smithsburg, MD on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jonathan Laye and Pastor Erik Peel officiating.  Interment will be in Boonsboro Cemetery Boonsboro, MD.
