Manny was one of my best friends throughout high school and afterward. I often remember the experiences we shared growing up in Hedgesville. He also served as a mentor for my son, Mike, as he got started in the construction business.

I remember in high school when Stephen Blizzard, Dick Blizzard, Manny, and myself went bowling on a Sunday afternoon. None of us were really good at bowling but it was something to do and we had a blast just playing at it rather than for any sense of winning.
