Donald Lee Nutter

Fairplay, MD – Donald Lee Nutter, 76, of Fairplay, MD passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home.

He was born on January 25, 1941 in Washington County, Maryland to the late Grover Custer Nutter and Elizabeth Elaine Lambert Dayley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance May Nutter on February 16, 2016.

He was employed by Mack Trucks, Inc. of Hagerstown, MD for 40 plus years until his retirement.

He was a member of Manor Church of the Brethren Tilghmanton, MD.

He was also a life member of the Fairplay Vol. Fire Co. and a member of UAW Local 171 Hagerstown, MD.

Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, family gatherings and working in his yard.

He is survived by his daughter Pamela J. Williams of Waynesboro, PA; daughter Denise C. Anderson and her husband John of Boonsboro, MD; son Matthew E. Nutter and his wife Denise of Martinsburg, WV; daughter in law Debbie S. Nutter of Sharpsburg, MD; sisters Joann Nutter, Tanj Baker, Sherri Meckes, and Dana Dayley; brothers Frank Nutter and Gary Nutter; grandchildren Chevelle, Eddie, Kayella, Michael, and Coleman; great grandchildren Joshua, Layla, and Vayda; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son Donnie Nutter; two brothers Greg Nutter, and Patrick Dayley; a step mother and a step father.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bryan K. Dugger officiating.  Interment will be in Manor Cemetery Tilghmanton, MD.
