Hagerstown, MD – Douglas Neil “Doug” Franklin, 40, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his home.
He was born on December 27, 1977 in Hagerstown, MD.
Doug attended Williamsport and Clear Spring Schools.
He previously was employed with D.L. Martin Manufacturing Mercersburg, PA and most recently with Caldwell Manufacturing Williamsport, MD.
He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Doug is survived by his mother and stepfather Julie Lea Brechbill Poe and Rick Poe of Clear Spring, MD; father Paul Douglas Franklin of Berkeley Springs, WV; brother Timothy Paul Franklin of Hagerstown, MD; niece Savanna; nephew Timmy; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.
