Earl Donald "Butch" Lowman, Sr.

Waynesboro, PA- Earl Donald “Butch” Lowman, Sr., 69 of Waynesboro, PA and formerly of Williamsport, MD passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at his home.

Born on October 6, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Frederick and Anna Virginia Wiley Lowman.

He was a 1966 graduate of Williamsport High School.

He retired from East Alcoa in Frederick, MD in 2003.

He was a lifetime member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport, MD

He was a selfless man who would do anything for his children.  He adored his grandson and would go above and beyond for his family or anyone in need.  He loved hunting and weightlifting and the Washington Redskins.  He will be sadly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Marie Lowman, a son Earl D. Lowman, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Martinsburg, WV, a daughter Sheila Lowman and her fiance’ Brandon Hester of Williamsport, MD, 2 stepdaughters Kim Eaton and her husband Charles and Charlotte McKendrick and her husband Scott both of Waynesboro, PA, a grandson Davian Lowman, 4 step grandchildren, a brother Fred L. Lowman of Williamsport, MD, 2 sisters Rose Marie Hessler of Hagerstown, MD and Barbara Burger of Baltimore, MD, his loving dog Mr. Teddy and Andy the cat, numerous nieces and nephews and his caregivers Brenda Costella and Kelly Ralls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ned Lowman and 3 sisters Patsy Lowman, Lavina Speaker and Ruth Delauter.

There will be no viewing and services will be announced at a later date.
