Hagerstown, MD – Edith Agnes Painter, 88, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Doey’s House Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on January 25, 1930 in Sharpsburg, MD to the late Ronald and Mary Bender Schroder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur David Painter.
She was a Homemaker.
Edith was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Boonsboro, MD.
She is survived by her son Robert M. Painter and his wife Sally of Delray Beach, FL; daughter Deborah A. Dickey-Anderson and her husband Michael of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren Julie Painter, Michael Painter and Tyler Painter; great grandchildren Natalie, Griffin and Miles; sister Glenda Schroder of Boonsboro, MD; sister Carlene Hough of Waldorf, MD.
She was predeceased by two sisters Juanita Vercelli and Henrietta Gilkerson.
There will be no viewing.
Services and burial will be private.
