Hagerstown, MD – Etta Sue Butts, 80, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center where she went to be with the Lord.
She was born on June 11, 1937 in Blenheim, SC to the late Boyd Thomas and Mattie Pearl Gray Dees.
She was a graduate of Blenheim High School in Marlboro County, SC.
She was a Homemaker.
Etta was a member of Brownsville Church of God in Bennettsville, SC.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Harold A. Butts; son Joseph Butts and his wife Lisa of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Sharon Poindexter of Virginia; grandson Zachary J. Butts and his girlfriend Corey Hendricks of Williamsport, MD; sister Helen Martin of SC; sister Laura Mayes of Savannah, GA.
She was predeceased by her brother Thomas B. Dees.
There will be no viewing and services will be private.
