Frederick William "Fred" McNamee

Hedgesville, WV – Frederick “Fred” William McNamee, 58, of Hedgesville, WV passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home.

He was born on August 23, 1960 in Hagerstown, MD to the late William Lee and Rama Alice Mose McNamee.

Fred was a 1978 graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD. After high school he served his apprenticeship with Associated Builders & Contractors.

He was employed with Restoration Unlimited of Williamsport, MD.

He attended Johnsontown Church of the Brethren Hedgesville, WV.

Fred was a lifetime member of the NRA.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years Barbara L. DeLauter McNamee; son Derek Lee McNamee and his girlfriend Laura of Cameron, NC; daughter Ashley D. Decker and her husband Tim of Hagerstown, MD; grandson Bennett Decker of Hagerstown, MD; granddaughter Flora Decker of Hagerstown, MD; sister Andrea Ralston of Zullinger, PA; brother Edward B. McNamee of Greencastle, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Dolly Matalon.

A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 5:00 pm with Pastor Dennis Rhoe

 officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Burial will be private.
