Golden Andrew "Bumps" Beasley

Hagerstown, MD – Golden Andrew “Bumps” Beasley, 87, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Williamsport, MD passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Robinwood Assisted Living Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on March 15, 1931 in Williamsport, MD to the late Henry and Cora Helen McClanathan Beasley.

He was employed by Pangborn Corp. of Hagerstown, MD for 38 years until retiring in 1992.

He was a member of Virginia Ave. Church of God Halfway, MD.

He was also a member of the A.C. Hunt Club in Indian Springs, MD.

Bumps enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing.

He is survived by his wife Lucretia Anne “Pat” Beaver Beasley whom he married November 23, 1951; son Jeffrey N. Beasley of Berkeley Springs, WV; daughter in law Carol Beasley; numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter Debra Beasley, three sons David, Mark, and Curtis Beasley, three sisters Anna, Marie, and Tiny, two brothers Edward and Spencer.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. A. Paul Harne officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
