Janeice Marie "Janie" Campbell

Smithsburg, MD – Janeice Marie “Janie” Campbell, 67, of Smithsburg, MD passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at her home.

She was born on July 20, 1952 in Hagerstown, MD to Alan Raymond Powell of Hagerstown, MD and the late Nadine Mae Hannah Hayes.

She was a 1970 graduate of South Hagerstown High School of Hagerstown, MD.

Janie was a Homemaker and the owner and operator of EP&W in Smithsburg, MD.  She was also a standup comic and did modeling in New York with Ford Modeling Agency in her younger years.  She was also a volunteer with Dogs Deserve Better.

Besides her father she is survived by her daughter Shannon N. Campbell of Hagerstown, MD; son Timothy D. Campbell of Hagerstown, MD; son Andrew R. Campbell of Hagerstown, MD.

She was predeceased by her sister Sharon Grove and brother Kenneth Powell.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 3:00-5:00 pm to celebrate Janie’s life.
