Jean Wilma Murray

Williamsport, Maryland- Jean Wilma Murray, 82 of Williamsport, MD passed away on Friday July 12, 2019 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

Born April 27, 1937 in Williamsport, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jess William and Ella Mae Straitiff Brown.

She was a 1955 graduate of Williamsport High School and

She was of the Christian faith.

Jean worked at Wolfe’s on the Square in her younger years and worked at Murray’s Tire and Auto for the remainder of her life.  She loved to travel and loved going to Ocean City, MD and spending time with her family.  She especially enjoyed watching her granddaughters sporting events.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Jack P. Murray, 2 sons Phil Murray and his wife Michelle of Williamsport, MD and Joel Murray and his wife Amy of Boonsboro, MD, 3 granddaughters Meghan Murray of Greer, SC, Jessica Murray and Jenna Murray both of Williamsport, MD and a brother Jim Brown and his wife Sharon of Williamsport, MD.

There will be no viewing and services will be private.
