Hagerstown, Maryland- Kathy Jo Smith, 52 of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday December 24, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
Born in Hagerstown, MD on March 29, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Betty Jane Turner Smith.
She was a 1984 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
She was of the Christian faith.
Kathy is survived by 2 sons Christopher Cassner and Zachary Cassner and 2 granddaughters Isabella Cassner and Brooklyn Cassner all of Hagerstown, MD, a brother Shane Smith of Frederick, MD and 3 sisters Carleen Cartwright and Pamela Loudin of Hagerstown, MD and Leann Guardascione of Lexington, VA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gregory Todd Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 11:00am at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am.
