Mark Vincent Connelly

Gettysburg, PA – Mark Vincent Connelly, 56, of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at his home.

He was born on July 2, 1963 in Summersville, WV to Allen R. Connelly  and Emma M. Chapman Connelly of Boonsboro, MD.

He was a 1981 graduate of Wooten High School in Rockville, MD.

He served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Infantryman for 4 years.  He earned his Airborne Wings and Air Assault Badge along with various other medals and achievements.

Mark was a Foreman for CW Wright Construction Company in Ijamsville, MD from 1989-present.

Besides his parents he is survived by his son Mark A. Connelly and wife Ginger of Williamsport, MD; granddaughters Willow Fairall and Lola Connelly; grandson Jameson Connelly; brother Joe Connelly and his wife Sharon of Summersville, WV; brother Chris Connelly and his wife Naomi of Bluefield, WV; nieces Katelin Crum, Scarlett Connelly, and Amelia Connelly; nephew David Connelly.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Monday from 1:00-2:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.  Military honors will be provided by Joint Veterans Council of Washington County and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.
