Mary Jane Malott

Williamsport, Maryland-Mary Jane Malott, 82 of Williamsport, MD passed away on Sunday March 3, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 5, 1936 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Elmer, Sr. and Zola Frances Bitner Davis.

She attended Hagerstown High School.

She was a homemaker and previously worked part time at People’s, Angstrom Precision and the South End A&P grocery store all in Hagerstown, MD.  She was a member of Virginia Avenue Church of God in Hagerstown, MD.

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years Franklin D.R. Malott, Sr., a daughter Pamela Chrisman and her husband Terry of Frankford, DE, 2 sons Franklin D.R. Malott, Jr. and his wife Carol of Williamsport, MD and Philip Malott and his wife Robin of Latrobe, PA, loving grandchildren Matthew, Dustin, Kristen, Erin and Emily, great grandchildren Kastin, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Addison and Bennett, a brother Roy E. Davis, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Freda Nunamaker and June Andrews and 5 brothers Wilbur Davis, Roger Davis, Leonard Davis, Daniel Davis and Carl Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 7, 2019 at 2:00pm at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD with Rev. A. Paul Harne officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to services from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Thursday at 9:00am.
