Michael Bryan DeLawter

Hagerstown, MD – Michael Bryan DeLawter, 61, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home.

He was born on December 10, 1957 in Williamsport, MD to Wilma Lea Payne DeLawter of St. James, MD and the late Claude Enis DeLawter.

He was a 1975 graduate of South Hagerstown High School Hagerstown, MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S Marines.

Michael was employed by Rust-Oleum in Williamsport, MD until his retirement.

He was of the Christian Faith.

Besides his mother he is survived by his wife of 7 years Vicky D. Stottler DeLawter; stepdaughter Holly Duffey and her husband Sean of Ellicott City, MD; stepson Tannen Smith of Hagerstown, MD; step granddaughter Eilish Duffey of Ellicott City, MD; step grandson Sagan Duffey of Ellicott City, MD; sister Jackie Nalley of Williamsport, MD; several nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ernest E. Witmer officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open at 12:00 (noon) for the convenience of family and friends.  Burial will be private.
