Nellie Jane Kline

Sharpsburg, Maryland-Nellie Jane Kline, 75 of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Sunday January 12, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born June 11, 1944 in Sharpsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Julia Bender Kline.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Kline in 2019.

She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She served in the United States Navy.

She worked as a Correctional Officer at MCI-Hagerstown until her retirement.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Hedgesville, WV.

Nellie is survived by her sons J. Brad Kline and his wife Chante’ of Sharpsburg, MD and Eric T. Kline and his wife Joni of Sharpsburg, MD, sister Abby Draper of Sharpsburg, MD, grandchildren Joe Kline of Martinsburg, WV, Broc Kline and his wife Whitney of Martinsburg, WV, Ce’cea Kline of Hagerstown, MD, Eric Kline, Jr. and his wife Jordan of Sharpsburg, MD, Ashlee Kline of Sharpsburg, MD and Nick Knight of Hagerstown, MD, a great grandson Hayden McQuaid of Hagerstown, MD and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 15, 2020 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Wednesday at 1:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 16, 2020 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD with full military honors provided by Clopper-Michael Post#10 American Legion Boonsboro, MD Honor Guard.
