Rollin Eugene "Ronnie" Farrow, Sr.

Williamsport, MD – Rollin Eugene “Ronnie” Farrow, Sr., 79, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home.

He was born on September 14, 1940 in Big Springs, MD to the late John Marvin Sr. and Rhoda Elizabeth Hege Farrow.

He attended Hagerstown High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Ronnie was previously employed as an Iron Worker in the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia and Ohio areas until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Clear Spring, MD.

Ronnie was a member of the I.A.B.S.O.I.W. Local #386 in LaSalle, Illinois.  He was also a member of NRA and Clopper-Michael Post #10 American Legion in Boonsboro, MD.

He loved and enjoyed his Chessie’s, hunting, auto racing, auctions, and horses.  He competed in local horse shows. 

Ronnie was a proud Conservative, loved his family, God and Country.

He is survived by his daughter Stacy Lynn Harnish and her husband Chuck of Hagerstown, MD; former wife and friend Betty Mumma; sister Sonja Pereschuk (Butch) of Hagerstown, MD; sister Donna Mongan (Donnie) of Clear Spring, MD; brother John M. Farrow, Jr. (Linda) of Clearview, PA; brother Gary A. Farrow (Millie) of Clear Spring, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; his close friends Teddy Hess and Craig Clapper; his God sent friend Todd Sasse; his “Chessie” dogs Rex and Georgie; grand puppies Stormy, Sippy and Starksy.

He leaves his love for his dear friend and his companion Zulma Alamo and her family.

He was predeceased by his son Rollin E. “Ron” Farrow, Jr., and sister Imagene Flora.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Monday for the convenience of family and friends. Entombment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.  Military graveside services will be provided by Clopper-Michael Post #10 American Legion Boonsboro, MD.
